It happened today! Someone I hadn't seen in a couple weeks, said, "Oh my goodness, look at you! You're losing weight!" I really needed to hear that today. It made me feel great. So far, I'm down 5 pounds. Tomorrow will mark the end of week two. I can do this.
I wasn't nearly as hungry today, and my energy levels were good. One thing I forgot to mention is that I'm finding clarity in my brain. I had a conference call yesterday where I had to do a lot of talking and I wasn't stumbling over my words are losing my train of thought. I consider myself a fairly good public speaker, but I definitely feel like I am more clear minded right now.
My food today was tasty. I started with the fruit bowl, and then had a late lunch. I was hard on miso soup. For dinner I decided to make a vegetable soup with potato. It was delicious! I felt like I needed a little treat tonight so I put some natural peanut butter inside a couple, pitted dates and stuck them in the freezer. If you've never tried this, you really need to! It was a healthy plant-based treat.

I have spent all evening organizing my clothing, so that I can move into my new closet. I still have so much to do, and thankfully I have the energy to do it. For now, I'm closing my eyes call you tonight. Ready for day 14!
